RDD Center’s Confidentiality and Patient Privacy Policy
It is a policy of RDD Center and the AAAHJ Accredited Surgical Facility where our patients are detoxed that all personal information including your name, postal and e-mail address and telephone number is private and confidential. Accordingly, the personal information you provide is never entered on a computer system and only the RDD Center has access to your medical records.
We know our patients are concerned about privacy. Our detoxification facility admission and detoxification treatment is set up to protect personal information about our patients. We perform our detoxification procedure in a totally private and very confidential facility. All admission and treatment records are kept at our secure location and only accessible by a few designated staff and our physicians. Our patients will never be part of a national hospital network data base that can be easily accessed by a national computer system serving large hospital groups, insurance companies, employers, government or judicial systems.
Many professionals such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, law enforcement, sports figures, teachers, etc. choose to come to RDD Center for our strict, confidential treatment. There is never any need to worry about hospitalization records with a diagnosis of “drug addiction” resulting in a life long record of drug addiction treatment. This should always be a major concern when choosing a drug treatment facility, especially when using medical insurance coverage for the cost of treatment. It is a fact that even your auto insurance company has free access to your health insurance records and vise versa. The insurance industry shares all information and is exempt from HIPPA privacy laws. We respect and protect your privacy and personal information. We value your trust and take your privacy seriously. We are committed to protecting your information and follow strict confidentiality guidelines.
