Brian is my son, and he completed treatment with you early April, 2010.

I know he had some contact with you within the 2 week period following treatment, but I don’t know if you have heard from him since then. I wanted to let you know his treatment was successful. The time has gone by rather quickly and I noticed improvements nearly every day. He feels good and says he never has any drug cravings.

One of the biggest changes with Brian was that he quit asking for money. What a relief. When he was drugging, he had a million excuses why he needed money. He had not been able to work in about 4 years, and last week he got a job doing what he loves. He is even getting overtime, and though he is tired and sore, he is excited about going to work every day. Life has finally become normal again. No more anxiety for the family about what trouble will find Brian. The best news of all is that he is a changed person. We are getting to know the real Brian again.

He told his Kaiser Permanente doctors about your treatment program and it seemed like they didn’t believe him. There are so many people in Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon with an addiction to pain killers. The common belief is that either methadone or Suboxone^® is the cure. Of course, there is big money to be made if you run a methadone clinic because the money could be coming from the patient or insurance for over a year and some never get off the juice.

Part of the problem is that the doctors here are quick to prescribe hydrocodone and oxycontin. Brian told me that when his back problem started, the doctor turned the computer monitor toward him to show him the list of drugs and asked him what he wanted. This man had been our family doctor for years and I trusted and respected him. I was shocked to find out the patient was in charge instead of the doctor.

Since your treatment helped my son so much and there are so many needing help in this area, I am hoping you will consider some form of advertising. There aren’t many people here who have heard of your treatment and you were not easy to find on the web when I discovered you.

I found you on the web it was because I am very persistent and I had also seen something about the anesthesia method of detox on one of the television network news shows several years ago. Would you be willing to contact 60 Minutes or 20/20 to get your information out to the public? Has your local television station or newspaper done a story about your clinic? When your life changes this much, it makes a person want to spread the word. Of course I don’t run with a drug crowd, so I don’t know a way to get the word out. Brian has told his drug friends about the treatment, but funding is a big problem for them. I learned from my research that your detox program is a bargain considering its success rate and price.

If you opened a clinic on the west coast, you could help a lot of people. Word spreads quickly when something works so well. The drug problem is what is referred to as the I-5 corridor. Heroin is coming from Mexico and is distributed all along the freeway to British Columbia. I am emailing an article from Oregonlive.com about this.

What can Brian and I do to spread the word about your clinic? Telling a few people around town just doesn’t seem to be effective.

Finally, I want to thank you for being there for our family. When I contacted you in March, I hoped Brian would be able to overcome addiction, but I had no idea how it would actually feel to be relieved of all the stress that goes along with having a family member addicted to drugs.

This is long overdue but I wanted to reach out to you and thank you so much for everything you did for me and my family during this horrific time in my life. I had a 15k a month habit (oxycontin) and was slowly destroying my life. I came to your center on Aug. 4, 2008 and have been drug free since. My life is getting back on track and we are now expanding our family with another baby. You not only saved my life but you gave my six year old son the chance to have the father he deserves and I can never say enough kind words to you about that. I now coach him in basketball and tee ball!!!!!! You guys are heaven sent. I may not have been the easiest patient but you guys helped every step of the way and you ALWAYS helped answer my Mom and Wife’s questions whom both had no idea of how to handle a situation like this. I will always remember you and pray that you guys continue to bless people and start their lives over. I was scared to death making those calls starting this process and would be more than happy to help anyone that I can. I feel at this point in my sobriety that I’m ready to reach out and help other people and let them know that with your help you can change and get a fresh start on life. During this Thanksgiving time when we reflect on what is so good in our lives and our blessings, one of the first things that came to both our minds this year is you….and the Doctors, Shirley, Quang, David, Alan, Dr. Hatcher and the rest of the gang at your facility.

Tom went through the anesthesia drug detox program this past April. If you recall, Tom (51 year old) presented to your facility with several years of 800 mg/day of OxyContin and periodic use of percocet for break through chronic back pain. He was at a point where the side effects of the opiates were harder to deal with…along with the addiction to want more….than the pain itself. Tom searched on ways to detox from this horrible medication and decided the rapid detox procedure was the way to go, and after speaking with you, chose Rapid Drug Detox to be the place. You were so helpful…each time we called, and we called a lot! Tom is a whole different person…the person he use to be. There are no words to thank you for this. His back pain is manageable and the side effects he usually dealt with are no longer an issue. Our friends and family have seen a transformation in him too.

As Tom has mentioned to others who have called him for his experience, this is the best thing he could have done….not only for himself but for the me and the rest of the family.

I have struggled with an opiate addiction for about five years…began with vicodin, percodan, and graduated to eight 40 milligram oxycontins per day! I tried several methods to get clean with subutex and subuxone… which I became addicted to as well.

These substances claim to get you off via maintenance, etc. They are false promises because when those treatments end, you have withdrawal all over again. So skip the subs and go straight for the rapid opiate detox! It’s been nine days since my procedure and I’m already working out, back at work, and attending NA diligently. I feel as though I have finally been released from my personal prison of using. Free, sober, clean, clear and HAPPY, for the first time in five years.

You must do this for yourself. But, there’s still work to do after. It’s an awesome recovery but one that requires diligence and a spiritual awakening. Best of luck…..Just do It!

Our babies finally have their parents back

I want to tell EVERY SINGLE PERSON in this great big sometimes very destructive world that help is a call away!!!! I am 9 days clean today and cannot believe that I am sitting here alive today at the very young age of 28 feeling the joys of life AGAIN!! I have 3 beautiful children ages 8, 4 and 1 who have been living my nightmare of injecting 800 milligrams of oxycontin 24/7 for the past year! My children can for the very first time look into my clear eyes and see the love that they have so desperately been seeking from me now and I can now see my selfishness that I forced onto their little hearts and it pains me greatly! I know there have to be others similar to myself and my husband (800 mg oxycontin daily) so please please call me I will discuss anything and everything with you about the procedure 24/7!!!! GET HELP NOW BEFORE IT MAY BE TOO LATE!!!! RDD IS A TRUE LIFESAVER!!!! You and your staff are the most caring, loving, understanding and nurturing crew we will ever have known!!! Please pass that on to all the staff for Justin and I!!! We both would not be alive today without ALL of you!!! Our babies finally have their parents back!!
