Finally Free From My OxyContin Addiction

Hello Everyone,

I want to thank all of you for everything you have done for me. I am clean and happy and I owe it all to you wonderful people. When I first made that call, she gave me hope that I could turn my life around and get off of the methadone. She explained everything and made it easy to come to Michigan. Thanks for always being there for me. The methadone clinic always discouraged me from getting off of this stuff. When I first started they said I would only be on it for 6 months. Don’t believe them!! Well, 2 ½ years and a gain of 30 pounds later I was still on it. I was sick of it! I didn’t want my kids to think about their mom on methadone. The methadone clinic never told me this stuff was worse to get off of than the Oxycontin I was addicted to. They kept raising my dose instead of taking it down. I tried to get off of it myself, what a mistake, I was sick and a wreck for days and I couldn’t take it, it was an awful experience. I also remember the other places I called for the anesthesia detox told me a lot of stuff that wasn’t true either. You CAN get clean and you don’t have to pay $18,000 to do it.

The Rapid Drug Detox Center was wonderful. Thanks to all of you!! All of you were very professional, you made me feel very comfortable and I never felt scared or was ever treated like an addict. You really care. I am finally free of this nightmare and I feel so relieved. Anyone thinking of doing this, don’t even hesitate, just listen and the doctors and you can be free too. The Naltrexone implant is a must, don’t even question it, just get it because it does help a lot with cravings, just like they said it would. Pamela my caregiver was an angel… thank you for being so understanding. I am so grateful to all of you. I will never forget any of you and your kindness. You truly gave me my life back.
