Does Not Feel the Need for Any Additional Prescribed Meds

Dr Nemeth,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and all of the staff at RDD for the care and compassion that was extended to my son Kevin and to myself during our stay in Michigan several weeks ago.

Needless to say, this entire episode with Kevin really brought home to me how extremely naive I have been and has given me a new perspective on the terrible damage that drugs do to both the individual and to the families involved. The opportunity to meet and get to know the other families who took this journey with Kevin and I certainly helped me deal with the heartache that I felt.

It has been a little more than 2 weeks, but Kevin seems to be over the worst of it and does not feel the need for any additional prescribed meds. He has started walking several times daily and spending lots of time in our pool swimming and doings some light water aerobics. He met with a counselor/therapist earlier this week and hit it off quite well with the fellow and follow up visits have been scheduled.
