People Make the Difference
With word’s alone I cannot tell you how important you were in my recovery. Without your tender voice and genuine care I really don’t think I would have came all those miles to let total strangers knock me out and clean me up. Well soon will be over 5 months, amazing, just amazing. You walked me through the steps, you made me feel comfortable each and every time I called, you really do listen. You handled all my appointments here in my home town. Girl you are truly one of a kind. The best.
The good Lord had to look upon you and said here are the skills I am going to give you, help people. And you do. You helped me to plant two feet solidly on the ground, you allowed me to find the real me although I am not sure who he really is, but I like the new me. I have been going to Narcotics Anonymous and know that if I want to stay clean I need to work the program, and try to keep a positive attitude. I take my opiate blocker daily and will continue to do so, they do work. I never got the opportunity to meet you personal but I will never forget the heavenly angel that took my hand and walked me down the road to sobriety. Thank you so very much. You have my Undying Gratitude Forever.
